Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has called on the All Progressives Congress stalwart and former governor of Lagos, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to retire from politics.
The former Minister said this as a result of president Muhammadu Buhari’s backing on Victor Gaidom as the party’s legal acting National Chairman on Wednesday.
The former minister said the suspension of the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole and the preferred replacement by Tinubu, Abiola Ajimobi falls into coma, brings to conclusion that “he has been thrown under the bus and retired from politics.”
Fani Kayode tweeted saying, “First, Oshiomhole was kicked out by the Court of Appeal. Then his preferred replacement, Abiola Ajimobi, falls into a coma. Then his archrival, Giadom is recognised by Buhari as acting national chairman.
“Conclusion: It is over for Tinubu. He has been thrown under the bus and retired from politics.”
