ASUU Strike: Saraki tells FG, Lecturers what to do

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki has called on the Federal Government to agree to the demands of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
The Senate President made the call while advocating for an end to the crisis between the Federal Government and ASUU which has led to the strike.
Speaking on the floor of the Senate during yesterday’s plenary, the Senate President also urged ASUU to find an amicable solution to the crisis in the interest of Nigerians.
“Apart from calling off the strike, it is important for the Federal Government to honour the agreements they have reached with ASUU as soon as possible so that this matter can be resolved. ASUU should also bear in mind the interest of all Nigerians and ensure that they find an amicable solution to this,” he said.
