Adams Oshiomhole, former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made news again, as he was spotted in the streets eating corn.
Similarly, in 2016, the then governor of Edo state, Oshiomhole draws public attention alongside his successor, Godwin Obaseki as they were spotted in thesame manner chewing roasted corn on the streets of Edo state while campaigning.
Both men were caught up in camera chewing roasted corn publicly before the Edo election in 2016 which Obaseki worn.
Ahead of the September governorship election in Edo, Oshiomhole is now seen in a viral video using same strategy of eating corn in the public while he receives cheers from passerbys chanting “Osho Baba!.”
However, Oshiomhole has returned to the streets four years after, but he was without his companion in 2016, who has decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following his disqualification from the APC governorship race.
Oshiomhole is now campaigning for Osagie Ize-Iyamu who was Obaseki’s opponent in 2016.
On Monday, he appologised to the people of Edo for selling a bad product to them in 2016.
The governorship election slated for September 19, 2020, will have the incumbent governor, Godwin Obaseki of the PDP and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the ruling APC as the top contenders.
