FA Cup: Sheffield United vs Arsenal, team news, possible lineup

Arsenal will face  a huge task as they travel to Sheffield United in the FA Cup quarter-finals today.

The Gunners lost two of their opening league matches against Manchester City and Brighton, before beating Southampton on Thursday to show some signs of recovery.

However, Arteta’s men remain ninth place on the premier league table behind Sheffield United, despite the Blades’ own struggles.

The Blades has a goalless match with Aston Villa before back-to-back 3-0 defeats by Newcastle and Manchester United.

Both teams have falling behind to secure a Champions League spot next season, but the FA Cup provides a major opportunity for the clubs to chase silverware.

Jack O’Connell is available again for Sheffield United after missing the first three games since the restart with injury, while Dean Henderson returns after sitting out against parent club Manchester United.

David Luiz could return to the Arsenal line-up after a suspension, while Bernd Leno, Calum Chambers, Lucas Torreira, Gabriel Martinelli and Pablo Mari are all out injured.

Sheffield United: Henderson, Basham, Egan, O’Connell, Baldock, Freeman, Norwood, Besic, Osborn, McBurnie, Sharp

Arsenal: Martinez, Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Luiz, Saka, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Nelson, Willock, Aubameyang, Lacazette
