The Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Ramoni Igbalode popularly known as Hushpuppi has been once again accused of scamming football clubs Lazio.

The recent development has been revealed by the FBI on how he and his gang conducted a £2 million scam on Italian Serie A team.

Recall that back in 2018, Lazio had reportedly fallen for an email scam and paid the sum of £2 million of the final installment for defender Stefan de Vrij’s transfer from Dutch club side Feyenoord to internet fraudsters.

The club had received an email that appeared to be from the Dutch champions asking for the £2 million, along with bank account details. They had duly sent the money.

However, as it turned out, Feyenoord never received the cash and claim to have no knowledge of the email.

This came in after Hushpuppi made his first appearance in court after arrest.
