Imo state assistant financial secretary of the PDP resigns

The Assistant Financial Secretary, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Imo State chapter Maximian Okedu, has resigned from his position at the party.

Okedu who resigned on Monday said that his reason was “personal coupled with pressures from friends and family members.”

The ASF resignation is coming days after the state Publicity Secretary of the, PDP, Damian Opara, also resigned his position as well as the state chairman of the party, Charles Ezekwem.

According to the Nation that the multiple resignations of the state officers is creating fear in the members of the, PDP in the state.

The source from the party said: “We don’t know what is happening and why our members of our state executives are resigning. It was our state chairman, followed by the state publicity secretary and now the assistant Financial Secretary, have resigned.”
