Over the recent killing in Katsina state, top securities officers where reported to have alighted the Umaru Musa Yar’adua airport in Katsina state.
Among the security officers is: police IG, national security adviser, DSS boss among other police officers
A report by Daily Trust indicates that top security officers led by Babagana Monguno, the National Security Adviser (NSA) on Wednesday, June 17, arrived in Katsina state over the recent killings in the area.
The security officials include Yusuf Magaji Bichi, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, and other top police officers.
The delegation are said to have moved to the government house for a closed-door meeting with Governor Aminu Masari and other top government officials.
According to a another report by legit, the police spokesman, SP Gambo Isa, the IGP is expected to visit the Katsina state governor, Emir of Katsina, and the state police headquarters.
This is coming after youths protested in the states capital over incessant killing in the state and other northern state.
The protest was spearheaded by the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) who made the announcement on Sunday, June 14, by its spokesperson, Abdulazeez Suleiman.
