Lagos govt. revealed what caused Ajimobi’s death

The Lagos State Government has disclosed what caused the death of former Oyo Governor Senator Abiola Ajimobi

Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi reveled that Ajimobi died of multiple organ failure.

The Commissioner explained that COVID-19 complications triggered the multiple organ failure.

INSIDE REPRT had earlier reported that the former governor died around 4pm on Thursday at First Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Consultants Hospital, Lagos.

“The former Governor died from multiple organs failure following complications from COVID-19 infection.”

Abayomi commiserated with family of the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating “On behalf of COVID-19 Lagos Incident Commander, Babajide Sanwo-Oluand the entire #COVID19Lagos response team, we convey our heartfelt condolences to the family of the former Governor and the people of Oyo state,” he added.
