Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel assures that his side will focus more on themselves than Burnley this weekend.

Sean Dyche’s team head to the capital to face the Blues at Stamford Bridge, looking to make it three from three in the Premier League.

The Clarets will arrive in Chelsea full of confidence after beating Aston Villa and Liverpool and seeing off Fulham in the FA Cup last weekend.

Tuchel took charge of his first game as the new manager on Wednesday night, following Frank Lampard’s sacking.

That was a 0-0 draw with Wolves, while up in Lancashire at the same time Dyche saw Chris Wood seal a 3-2 comeback win for Burnley over Villa.

The new Chelsea boss was not overly daunted when told that Burnley are ‘very organised’ and will show him ‘what English football is all about.

“Okay, Wolves are as well, and we will totally focus on us,” said Tuchel. “We will prepare Burnley for sure and demonstrate to the team the offensive and defensive structures of Burnley.

“And after that we have a lot of pictures to encourage the guys to keep on going.

“I just told them I will not allow anybody to doubt what we did today (Wednesday), there was an amazing energy and a good, good team performance.

“Points will come from this performance on, the level is set high now and we will keep on pushing.

“I was really impressed by what we did today, I liked the attitude; if this was the starting point and we still have potential to grow, I am looking forward to where we end up.”
