Arsenal are confident of beating London rival Tottenham Hotspur to the signing of Ryan Fraser this summer, Daily Mail reports.
Fraser’s contract with Bournemouth runs out at the end of this season and there has been plenty of speculation about the winger’s future.
The 26-year-old is said to be the subject of a battle between Spurs and Arsenal, with both the North London sides reportedly keen to get his signature.
However, it was previously claimed that the Lilywhites were leading the race for the Scotland international.
Fraser himself apparently told his friends that he would prefer a move to Spurs.
However, it has been reported that Jose Mourinho has his doubts over whether the Bournemouth star is good enough for the club.
Meanwhile Daily Mail have now contradicted previous reports and said that Arsenal are the front runners for Fraser. They suggest that the Gunners are confident of getting a deal over the line for the winger when he becomes a free agent.
